Each set is built in Quarto against the Dublin theme above, so the decks and the models share a look and a notation.
ECON42550 Macroeconomics
An introduction to New Keynesian macroeconomics, taught through a sequence of models of short-run fluctuations and long-run growth. Each model adds one idea to the one before, and most lectures pair with one of the interactive models.
ECON42240 Advanced Macroeconomics
The follow-on to ECON42550. It adds time series, and builds the New Keynesian models of that module out into a full dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) model, solved, estimated and tested against the data. Most lectures pair with one of the interactive models.
ECON30130 Econometrics
An introduction to using regression to learn from economic data, built on ordinary least squares. A work in progress: the module is being rebuilt around a single data set, so students apply each method as they learn it, recreate the figures, and build intuition and rules of thumb.
